Clemens Buffaloes Varsity jumped out to an early lead on Madison and captured an 11-0 victory.

With seven runs in the first three innings, Clemens Buffaloes Varsity left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI single by Sierra Schultz, a groundout by Anissa Rodriguez, and a fielder’s choice during the first inning supplied the early offense for Clemens Buffaloes Varsity.
Taylor Cass boosted her batting average thanks to a perfect 4-4 day at the plate to pace Clemens Buffaloes Varsity.

Clemens Buffaloes Varsity’s Joanna Valencia kept Madison off the scoreboard for all six innings she was in the circle. She pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on two hits while ringing up seven.

Clemens Buffaloes Varsity added three more runs in the bottom of the third. The inning got off to a hot start when Caitlin Matthews doubled, scoring Rodriguez and Lauren Bell. That was followed up by Hannah Kinkade’s solo blast.

Clemens Buffaloes Varsity built upon its lead with four runs in the sixth. Matthews singled, plating Cass and Rachel Bryant to start the inning. That was followed up by Matthews’ single, scoring Cass and Bryant.
